Wakakusa (若草) means 'young grass' in Japanese, and the name fits perfectly: this cultivar, listed in the series as Pothos Teruno #19, holds a soft, fresh spring-green that sits beautifully between the neon varieties and the deep green ones. It brings a gentle brightness to a shelf without shouting.
Like its siblings, Wakakusa was developed by Terunoworld, a small specialist pothos nursery in Japan whose numbered cultivars have become sought-after collector plants. Canadian-grown cuttings are genuinely hard to find.
Your cutting comes from my own thriving mother plant in Squamish, BC, with at least one viable node ready to root in water or moist soil. Photos are representative; each cutting is unique.
